    • RE: How to simultaneously mine Burst and BTCHD

      @kaufmg123

      I just checked mine. I have 52.53 on the BHD miner and 53.78 on Burst, so although i am unsure what the discrepancy, at least we both have it.

      In the setup screen on the Hpool does it show you accumulating coins there?

      or do you have the box unchecked and your sending directly to wallet?

      are both config files identical when it comes to which drives to scan? Do you possibly have one small drive not being scanned for burstcoin miner?

      Also , related to the first part, are you mining the BHD with a Pool?

      Its a good thing the value of burst has dropped so much, or my feelings could have been hurt. I have used online wallets over the years, and have never before had an issue, but obviously someone eventually got my passphrase.

      I used to be careful and transfer the funds out of the mining account quite regularly into a secure, local wallet, that has never been entered online, but i got lazy.

      @eagle275 @haitch

      Does entering your passphrase in the field for solo mining (when pool mining) not send that information to the pool, possibly compromising the account? Just being cautious.......Haitch if you don't mind chiming in, id hate to see someones day wrecked.

      @tinycoins Yes you were right, i did have to end up switching up and putting my mining wallet passphrase into the BHD wallet to generate the "binding string". I just made sure i had no burst in that wallet and will transfer more often to other wallet just in case. The price of burst lately makes the risk decision associated with doing this alot easier....

      @tinycoins i used the encrypted passphrase for my bhd wallet(the one i created the other day when i set up my BHD wallet and started to dual mine), and it worked. I do not mine burst through the Hpool so did not enter my burst wallet passphrase.

      @tinycoins but are you not doing this in your BHD wallet?

      @tinycoins Morning! i did this yesterday and it seems to only be in the BHD wallet that it is required. I only mine bhd in the Hpool, and mine Burst in Haitch's 0-100 pool. When you create your own BHD wallet you should have encrypted it(or if you havent there is a option to do that). It is that passphrase you are entering in your own wallet to create the number you give to the pool.
